Josiah Walker

Associate Pastor (Elder)

Born and raised in Utah, Pastor Josiah is no stranger to the unique ministry dynamic that exists around Utah. He was raised in a christian home and has spent the majority of his adult life serving in ministry.

As the Associate Pastor, Josiah believes that the best part of church happens when we spend time in fellowship together. He was a bi/co-vocational minister while serving as the Store Director of Lee’s MarketPlace on 4th West before joining our team full-time. He holds a Masters of Theological Essentials (MTE) from Gateway Seminary. He assists in the teaching ministry at Redeeming Life and oversees our ministry to children, youth, and families. In addition, Pastor Josiah is our Executive Pastor.

He and his wife Krystyl, along with their daughter Maddy, have a heart to see our city redeemed by the power of the gospel!

Robbie Tschorn

Minister of Worship & Discipleship

Utah has been home for Robbie and his wife, Meg, since October of 2018. Born and raised in South Carolina, Robbie answered the call to ministry in high school. Robbie earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music and Worship Leadership at Charleston Southern University in 2014. After serving with a church in South Carolina, he uprooted from the South to work in the mission fields of Utah. Presently, he serves as the Minister of Worship and keeps a full workload of other tasks in support of the Elders and the ministry at Redeeming Life Church. He desires to know and love God above all else and to encourage others to do the same.

He and Meg have two boys, Baker and Ezra.

We believe in a plurality of Elders. We also believe that all non-elder servants in publicly recognized ministries should meet the qualifications of the deacon. Deacons assist the ministry of Redeeming Life by recognized service as directed by the Elders. We utilize a Church Council made up of members, affirmed by the members of the church, to represent the members and serve in an advisory-leadership role to the Elders. By our church polity, our members vote on many aspects of the operation and business of Redeeming Life Church.
