FAMILY

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (among many other passages) instructs us to teach our children to love God.  We take that seriously at Redeeming Life and seek to help parents.  Therefore, our goal is to equip children and youth to have a firm understanding of God’s word while we help parents fulfill their call to disciple their children.

The Jesus Storybook Bible and The Biggest Story Bible Storybook are great resources for families. We highly encourage parents to read these books to their younger children in conjunction with regular Bible reading with the family. We love families and believe the family unit is an important community within the community of God.  Our families participate together in worship, Fellowship Groups, corporate prayer, Bible studies, and our outreach ministries. We also offer classes and Bible studies specifically for children and youth from 6:30-8:00 PM Wednesday nights.  

During our Mid-Week Discipleship Class on Wednesday nights, your children ages birth through 12 years old, will be taught a Bible Lesson based on the Growing In God’s Word curriculum. Each week as we teach God’s word to our children, we invite them into the captivating story of God’s redemption plan.

We worship together as a faith-family, although we offer a nursery and pre-k class during the worship service for those who would be blessed by this this children’s ministry. Families are free to check kids in before the service or keep them with their family for the musical portion, or the entirety of our worship service. A pager-puck is given to parents so we can page them if the child needs anything. Our children’s ministry is also monitored by camera for additional safety and security.

NURSERY (BIRTH – 3 YRS)
We provide nursery care for newborns and children 3 years old and younger, during both the Sunday Morning Worship Service and our Mid-Week Discipleship Class on Wednesday nights.

PRE-K CLASS #1 (4 YRS – 6 YRS)
On Sunday mornings, kids 4 years old (and potty trained) through 6 years old learn that the entire Bible is about Jesus as they enjoy a lesson from the Jesus Storybook Bible each week. We also offer a Pre-K class on Wednesday Nights as part of our Mid-Week Discipleship time. In this class, your child will hear a Bible lesson from the “Growing In God’s Word” Bible Curriculum. Our Pre-K class is available during the Sunday morning Worship Service and the Mid-Week Discipleship class on Wednesday nights.

KIDS CLASS (7 YRS – 12 YRS)
On Sunday mornings, Kids 7 years old through 12 years old meet with us for worship on Sunday mornings. They are also able to grow in their understanding of the Bible as they build on the foundation that was created during their time reading through the Jesus Storybook Bible in the Pre-K Class, by going through The Biggest Story Bible Storybook during their class. In addition to learning about key events and turning points in scripture, your child will also learn how to read their Bible and have a better understanding of what books are in the Bible so that they are prepared to begin Youth Group (NextGen) with a firm grasp of God’s word knowledge of his truth. We also offer a Kids class on Wednesday Nights as part of our Mid-Week Discipleship time. In this class, your child will hear a Bible lesson from the “Growing In God’s Word” Bible Curriculum. The Kids Class is available during the Sunday morning Worship Service and our Mid-Week Discipleship class on Wednesday nights.

YOUTH - NEXTGEN (13 YRS - 18 YRS)
Students in middle school and high school meet with us for worship on Sunday mornings. However, they also meet for a NextGen Bible Study (13 yrs - 18 yrs) on Wednesday nights. They read God’s word and study it one book at a time. Our students learn how to study God’s word on their own and apply it to their lives. They also have a lot of fun. Our NextGen Bible Study meets weekly on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.
